Electrical Safety

This is a 4 hour course that introduces the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation and precautions required for Electrical Safety. It discusses the hazards of low-voltage electricity and de-energization, as well as discussing work on live electrical equipment. It reviews high voltage equipment, step and touch potential, general limits of approach and even working inside the limits of approach Electrical injuries are described in Chapter 3.

Expanded Emergency Service and Safety Course Offerings

Trauma Tech is excited to partner with Turn Key Operations to expand our emergency service and safety course offerings. We invite you to participate in a variety of specialized technical rescue programs. TKO is a Canadian company with some of the most skilful personnel in North America when it comes to dealing with specialized rescue operations and the training required for them.

Currently TKO sits on International Fire Service Training Standards including the N.F.P.A. (National Fire Protection Association-2500/1006 Standards). As well, TKO is certified by the B.C. construction safety alliance and is a service provider for its Technical Rope Rescue Programs and Industrial Tower Crane Rescue Curriculum. Their manuals have been Pro Board accredited in Canada. TKO influences emergency and industrial services throughout North America.
